Measuring wheel encoder systems are the ideal solution for reliable speed measurement, position determination and length measurement in linear motion applications. They are recorded rotationally using a measuring wheel with an encoder attached directly on the surface of the measured material and converted into linear data. Integrated springs provide the necessary contact force of the measuring wheel on the measuring surface to reliably obtain the measured values.
